Overland Truck Rack - Coming Soon!
This truck rack has been a few years in the making and will be coming to you soon! It is a universal, adjustable design so it will fit many vehicles and can be transferred from truck to truck. Initial plan of record is to sell this as a kit of 4 towers, 4 support brackets, 4 cross-bar brackets, 6 bed mounting clamps, and all associated mounting hardware and instructions. This will make it easy to ship and you can source your own 80/20 channel as needed for your application.
This is a super sturdy rack that can be used for your roof top tent or as a utility rack for work
Incorporates 2” square 8020 channel to allow for adjustability, expandability, modularity, and mounting flexibility
Height can be easily adjusted by changing the position of the two-piece towers - 17”-25” tall
Width adjustment is enabled by the cross member mounting bracket configuration - up to 10” for a given cross member length
Designed to fit almost any size pickup - from old-school mini pickups to full sized longbeds; just change the length or replace the 80/20 channel
Towers and support brackets feature mounting options for a HiLift jack, MaxTrax traction devices, and RotopaX fuel cells
Towers and support brackets are all interlocking so they can be grouped together for a “thicker” look and added rigidity
Future release of additional panels such as security panels to protect your gear in the bed or custom panels to for specific mounting
Planning to continue adding additional components such as light brackets, propane mounts, awning mounts, security boxes, etc.
The best part of this rack is that you don’t have to sell the rack with the vehicle as it can be used on your new pickup
NOTICE: The design is still changing - latest changes include removing the jog near the base so the interlocking towers and support brackets can be made to “fill” the sides to create a pseudo camper shell.
